Get Your 'Downton Abbey' Fix With New Mobile Game

Ever wished you could explore the Crawley family estate, Downton Abbey fans? Your wish is about to come true … sort of.

Activision on Thursday launched a new mobile game set in the world of the hit show. The free-to-play hidden object game, dubbed Downton Abbey: Mysteries of the Manor, is available now for Apple, Android, and Kindle Fire smartphones and tablets.

"When an unknown intruder ransacks the mansion, putting the Crawley family's fortune in jeopardy, players must discreetly search every room to find the missing treasures and unravel the mystery behind the break-in," Activision said. "But in a place where everyone has something to hide, no one is above suspicion."

The game features characters and locations from the beloved series. As you play, you'll find and return missing items to their rightful owners, earning the trust of the estate's residents in the process and unlocking new areas to advance the story. You can also compete with friends on social leaderboards to see who can restore more of the Abbey's possessions.

The game is available for download in the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore.

Hopefully it will be enough to tide you over until January, when Downton Abbey debuts its sixth and final season on PBS in the U.S.

Meanwhile, if you missed any of the twists and turns of season 4, you can catch up on all the action on Amazon Prime Instant Video. Amazon in 2013 landed an exclusive content licensing agreement with PBS Distribution for streaming rights to Downton Abbey through at least season 5.
